Excellent Expedition: The Digital Nile 2026

Saturday, August 8th

~2:00pm till late

You will be entertained with music and dance, as well as delicious food.

Alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks will be provided! There will also at least one beer on tap, perhaps two.

There will be wine, and a selection of mixers and hard liquor for you to enjoy.  If you prefer something unique, feel free to BYOB. You can add your beverage to the bar area for everyone to enjoy, or simply keep it for yourself.

As for food, previous events featured grilled burgers, hotdogs, sides, and vegetarian options. For this event, the menu is yet to be determined.  Be assured there will be vegetarian and gluten free options. If any other dietary requirements are necessary, please reach out so accommodations can be made if possible.

The event will begin around 2PM. More details will be shared once confirmed.

The “Big Game” kickoff will take place soon after the party starts. It is a silly/fun skit that you’re sure to enjoy! Try to arrive in time to see your friends perform really bad acting for your amusement!

Once again there will  a proper dance floor and music to get you moving! Be brave, my friends, be brave!

The event is primarily outdoors and appropriate footwear is recommended. The ground is pretty flat, however, the optional Big Game takes place on trails where the terrain can be uneven. 

The party theme for 2026 is Techno-Egypt! Doesn’t that sound intriguing? The big game story theme is [TO BE REVEALED]. Watch for your hosts to be all decked out in fabulous outfits to match the theme!!

Your guide for appropriate attire is as follows:

• Wear comfortable attire!! Costumes are encouraged, however, regular street clothes are OK. The hosts want you to attend, just wear some kind of clothing! 😉
• If you do want join us and dress for the occasion, consider the following options:
  • Dress to match the theme:
    • Dress as an ancient Egyptian.
    • Dress as an Egyptian deity.
    • Dress as a 1940’s Expedition adventurer (think Indiana Jones!)
    • Dress as a cyberpunk or as a high tech hacker, or scientist.
    • Dress in 1940’s party outfits.
  • Theme be damned! If you want to just dress up, but not do the themes, that’s fine too. It’s all good. Everyone is welcome to this event.

Onsite tent camping is available during the event. Please RSVP ahead of time so the limited sites can be assigned and  guaranteed 

Limited RV parking is available for small rigs, i.e: 20 feet or less. We absolutely cannot accommodate anything larger and encourage everyone to check out some of the local camp grounds.  

Parking close fills up fast and extends into the road. Car/Van camping is always permitted, however, be sure and arrive early to get a close spot. 

There is no water or electricity hookups available in the camping area. Car/Van camping is always permitted.

The party is a private, invite only event. Those who share the values of friendship, progressive ideals, altruism, and kindness towards others are welcome! This is a drama free event. All guests must be pre-approved. Be sure to communicate all guest requests early. No last minute guest add ons will be allowed.
