Hollygrove is constructed on Aberdeen, the thirteenth planet orbiting the star Kalidsa. Aberdeen is named after the Scottish city sharing the same name.
Aberdeen has several climate zones, but has one of the largest zones suitable for human colonization. Although distant from its home star, We took an innovated approach to atmospheric development by adding extra layers of thick, insulating aerosols. This keeps the planet warmed, at the cost of light penetration. Hollygrove is shrouded in near darkness for most of its day. It sees a dim daylight for only a few hours mid day. Colonists of Hollygrove have grown accustomed to this, and tend to favor the darker periods.
We have designated Hollygrove as our center for historical archiving and historical virtual reality systems. The extremely creative and talented colonists here tend to live the part, and should you visit Hollygrove, you will see the residents dressed in attire that is appropriate for the location and time period that they focus on.
